Testerra’s core capabilities are based on Tom Rowan’s research in the testing of numerical software. Prior to founding Testerra, Tom Rowan worked at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the University of Tennessee, and Intel. At Oak Ridge National Laboratory he was the laboratory’s numerical analysis consultant and a University of Tennessee Collaborating Scientist. As a senior software engineer at Intel he designed and implemented floating-point exception handling confidence tests. Tom has a Ph.D. in Computer Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin.
